Virus Resist (TuYV)

Turnip Yellows Virus (TuYV) is the most important viral disease of oilseed rape and is transmitted

to the crop by aphids; predominantly, the peach-potato aphid (Myzus persicae). Up to 72% of these aphids can be infected with TuYV, causing a significant threat to the crop.

There are currently limited chemical control options and the peach-potato aphid is resistant to several active ingredients. TuYV resistant varieties are the best way to protect against the virus and secure your yield potential.

Limagrain Field Seeds are pioneers in producing high performance having introduced the first TuYV varieties in 2014.

Limagrain Europe are the market leaders in certified seeds for Winter Oilseed Rape in Europe.
