SORGHUM

Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), also known as Milo, is a world-wide crop grown for animal feed, sugar and a direct food source in some parts of the world. Sorghum is the fifth most important cereal crop in the world with more than 40 million hectares and the third most important cereal crop in the United States. While grown mostly for animal feed, it’s attraction as a gluten-free human food source has broadly increased in recent years.
